Back to Basics: Meeting Functionality in Ambra Viewer

We have received many questions regarding how Ambra might be able to help during this challenging time for our healthcare system. Now, more than ever, reducing the in-person component of medical image access and exchange is crucial. As such, we will be highlighting the “Meet” feature in the Ambra Viewer. Ambra Health’s Meet functionality allows physicians to meet and collaborate virtually with their patients or colleagues to review and discuss imaging and reports.

Note: This functionality must be enabled for your account. To enable, please contact updates@ambrahealth.com.

Viewer Meeting Tool

  1. Select the Images icon on the right side of the worklist to view the study.
  2. Select the “Meet” icon on the viewer’s toolbar.
  3. Enter a name for the meeting on the pop-up window and press “OK.”
  4. To invite attendees to view, select “Share Meeting Link,” type in attendee email address, and select “Send.”
  5. Once the attendee receives and clicks the link, his/her email address will appear in the viewer.
  6. Select the icon next to the email address to make that attendee the presenter. Only the current presenter will have access to the viewer toolbar.
  7. Select “End Meeting” to close the meeting.

As always, Ambra’s virtual doors are always open and our support team is fully available at support@ambrahealth.com or 888-587-2280.
