Back to Basics: Personal Namespace & Share Link

The Ambra platform is designed to be an easily accessible and clearly structured cloud-based PACS system. However, as a physician there can be times when the normal groups and locations are not what you need. Often you will need a study uploaded or shared to you directly, without having to worry about it being accessible to anyone else.

For this purpose, we have personal namespaces, which can be accessed by clicking on the dropdown for groups and locations and scrolling down to the “Users” section, where you will be able to select your name.

In order to have patients or other physicians share imaging with you directly, you will need to create a personal share link. This can be done by clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen and accessing your user settings. By entering a share code, you will be able to generate a link that will allow others to upload imaging directly into your personal namespace.

The link can be used to upload imaging, while the share code can also be used to share imaging from any location in Ambra directly.
