Ambra Health Named SIIA Business Technology CODiE Award Finalist in Best Healthcare Technology Solution Category

NEW YORK — June 21, 2017 — Ambra Healthmakers of the leading cloud-based, medical image management suite today announced that the company was named a 2017 SIIA CODiE Awards finalist in the Healthcare Technology Solution category. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information and business technology. The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier awards for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for over 30 years.

The Ambra Suite is designed to serve as the backbone of medical imaging innovation and progress for healthcare providers. Ambra streamlines the medical image exchange process and connects patients, care providers, and facilities worldwide so that doctors can focus on what matters most: patient care. This flexibility enables large multi-hospital institutions, as well as imaging center networks and small medical groups, to easily access and share medical images with physicians and patients anytime, anywhere – critical capabilities in today’s value-based healthcare industry.

“We are honored to be a finalist in the healthcare technology category for our best-in-class Ambra image management suite,” said Morris Panner, CEO of Ambra Health. “Using Ambra cloud solutions, leading providers have transformed their image management workflows, moving past the constraints of on-premise architecture, cutting costs for facilities, and speeding up time-to-care delivery for patients.”

SIIA judges noted Ambra’s recent platform-as-a-service (PaaS) launch and the new use cases that will be unlocked as a result of opening up the Ambra Suite via modern, REST-ful web services. Judges commented specifically that, “(Ambra) continues to be a great platform. Expansion into Cloud VNA and PaaS should drive further adoption and value creation from the Ambra core,” and, “the new (Ambra) platform launch is noteworthy. The move from a product and solution to a whole ecosystem is interesting.”

“I am impressed by the level of innovation and creativity of the products that have been selected as this year’s CODiE Award finalists. We are happy to recognize these products and the power they have to transform the future of how we do business.” said Ken Wasch, President of SIIA.

The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants and investors evaluate assigned products during the first-round review which determines the finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners. Winners will be announced during the CODiE Award Business Technology Winner Announcement & Celebration, July 25 in San Francisco.
