Ambra Health Named Top Medical Image Exchange Vendor by KLAS For the Seventh Year in a Row
NEW YORK — February 2, 2021 — Ambra Health, makers of the leading cloud-based, medical image management suite, today announced its recognition as the 2021 Best in KLAS vendor for Image Exchange. This is the seventh year in a row that Ambra Health has earned the top Medical Image Exchange category award from KLAS in its annual 2021 Best in KLAS: Software and Services Report.
The Best in KLAS report recognizes software and services companies who excel in helping healthcare professionals improve patient care. All rankings are a direct result of the feedback of thousands of providers over the last year. A Best in KLAS award signifies to the healthcare IT industry the commitment and partnership that the top vendors should provide.
“Each year, thousands of healthcare professionals across the globe take the time to share their voice with KLAS. They know that sharing their perspective helps vendors to improve and helps their peers make better decisions. These conversations are a constant reminder to me of how necessary accurate, honest, and impartial reporting is in the healthcare industry. The Best in KLAS report and the awards it contains set the standard of excellence for software and services firms. Vendors who win the title of “Best in KLAS” should celebrate and remember that providers now accept only the best from their products and services. The Best in KLAS award serves as a signal to provider and payer organizations that they should expect excellence from the winning vendors,” says Adam Gale, KLAS President.
Today, the Ambra cloud suite powers image exchange and more at eight of the top 10 hospitals and seven of the top 10 children’s hospitals, as well as leading radiology practices, subspecialty groups, and life sciences companies. Ambra Health continues to evolve its platform based on direct feedback from its engaged customer base. In the past year alone, Ambra launched over 1,400 feature developments and enhancements, most notably ProViewer, the company’s next generation cloud-based diagnostic image viewer equipped with advanced visualization and analysis tools.
“Ambra Health is honored to receive a seventh designation from KLAS as the leader in image exchange. 2020 was a unique year for healthcare and one in which a cloud-based image management solution went from a nice-to-have to a need-to-have. Facilities realized that whether they needed to share instantly with patients, other physicians, or even begin research projects, an enterprise wide image management strategy was a necessity,” said Morris Panner, CEO of Ambra Health.
A snapshot of feedback from the providers who use Ambra and participated* in the KLAS research process is included below.
“Ambra has really delivered us things on time for COVID-19. We immediately brought our patient portal integration live,” Director, December 2020.
“Our partnership with Ambra’s team is far above what we have seen from other vendors, even including vendors that we have worked with for several years. Ambra goes above and beyond, and they ask questions and want feedback. Ambra started in the image exchange business but has worked their way into the strategy portion of enterprise imaging. Things are still early, but the things that Ambra is doing with the cloud and with Google are what the industry needs. We are watching Ambra’s cloud PACS and what they are working on with the VNA. I suspect that as Ambra deepens their offerings, we will push more business Ambra’s way,” – VP/Other Executive, January 2021
“I appreciate their campaign of ditching the disc and hope the message continues to move through the industry. We see a lot of referrals and specialty cases, so imaging exchange is near and dear to our hearts.” – VP/Other Executive, January 2021
